Thank you for your page. I would like to join the list. My knowlegde on Carthusians is fair: six books, all internet resources (there are some Spanish ones you do not mention), 16 days stay at Miraflores. However, I am not interested in "scholarship" on Carthusians any more.

I am entering Miraflores as a brother on late September 2001 or shortly on October. I am sorry I join the list so late. Please remove my name from the list after that.

My aim is helping anyone thinking about a possible vocation and finding it difficult to make up their minds to write to a charterhouse because they live in an area where there is not any near. Should they think in Spanish monasteries, namely Miraflores, maybe would be useful for them to get an unofficial friendly preview from me so that deciding upon an expensive trip is made easier. I am not interested in contacting people with no real vocation. Let me add I find it pretty inconsiderate to stay at a charterhouse for the trying time only to nose about, because that means extra useless work on the part of frequently old brothers and dead hope in the heart of Master of Novices and Prior. This is not good.
