Benedicta Wallace

I just spent some time reading the information that you have gathered and share of your own journey in the spirit of St. Bruno. I am a Benedictine Nun in Germany but in my soul lives a woman of solitude.

As you know from your time in my order, St. Benedict reserved the solitary path for the ones advanced in the spiritual life. As the Lord called me to this form of cenobitical life, I can only live in the faith and hope that one day He will also lead me into the complete solitude that my soul longs for. St. Bruno, St. Romuald and St. Bernard are my greatest patrons. I have a growing collection of literature and other information about the Carthusian and Eremitic Spirituality.

I had the great honor and pleasure of spending some time in a hermitage of the Sisters of St. Bruno and the Assumtion of Mary in the Catskill Mountains in New York. Since this visit, this life of intense solitude has not let me go.

I should like to be included in your list of contacts as it would be enriching to share the journey with others interested in this spirituality.

In the grace of Our Lord,

Sr. Benedicta Wallace OSB
